To find out about the atmosphere of a MUSICA MUNDI choir competition, we invite you to participate in the festival. You have the possibility to attend competitions in different categories and to perform in encounter concerts together with other choirs from all around the world. Moreover, you will have plenty of time to explore the picturesque surrounding area.

Workshops
Every day of the festival the participants will sing and rehearse common repertoire under the direction of specially invited famous choral directors such as Karmina Šilec and Robert Sund as well as the principal conductor of the Malta National Orchestra Michael Laus. The songs rehearsed in the workshops will be performed during the main events.

Main Events
There will be four main events: The opening ceremony on Thursday, the Peace Ceremony on Friday, the Grand Concert on Saturday and the Final ceremony on Sunday. One part of these events will consist of the performing of songs from the workshops.

Church Services and Friendship Concerts
There will be possibilities for the choirs to take part in Sunday church services in some of the wonderful churches on Malta or in friendship concerts on selected outdoor arenas.

Award Ceremony
The award ceremony following the choir competitions is sure to provide some of the festival’s most emotional moments. The ceremonial presentation of the diplomas will take place on Sunday in the late afternoon.
