International Robert Schumann Choir Competition & Festival

Zwickau, the birthplace of the composer Robert Schumann, is host of the correspondent choir competition. As before, Robert Schumann’s famous words
“Highly respect and honour the old, yet open your heart to the new!”
taken from his “Musical Rules for Life”, express the intent of this competition.
The “City of Robert Schumann” - Zwickau -, a cultural and economical centre of West-Saxony, is again delighted to be host of this high-ranking choir competition in 2010.
