Choir Development Fund

The Choir Development Fund (CDF) is an aid fund for the support of children and youth choirs.

For the singing and music-making children and young people all over the world.
The CDF is an integral part of INTERKULTUR Foundation (registered society) in accordance with the foundation’s statutes.

INTERKULTUR Foundation (registered society) is registered with the Amtsgericht (magistrate’s court) of Gießen/Germany, registration no. 1806 and its head office is located in 35415 Pohlheim/Germany. It is recognised by the Finanzamt Gießen (tax and revenue office of Gießen) as a charitable organisation and is tax-exempted from corporation tax according to paragraph 5, sect. 1, no. 9, Corporation Tax Law of the Federal Republic of Germany. Thus, all donations are tax-deductible.

Aims

  • Support of musically gifted children and youth choirs from war and crisis zones as well as from financially weak states, regions or families
  • Support of musically gifted handicapped children and young people
  • Support of young conductors
  • Organisation of musically oriented holiday camps for children and young people
  • Support of choirs in order to enable them to participate in international choir and music festivals
  • Support of a peaceful living together of different peoples and religions

Funds

Funds will be raised by means of

  • Membership fees
  • Donations
  • Fund-raising events
  • Sale of music recordings
