MUSICA MUNDI World Ranking List
For over twenty years the MUSICA MUNDI competitions have been amongst the most innovative events in the international choral scene. Almost 4500 choirs have sung in nearly 90 events carried out worldwide, also having been evaluated by highranking international adjudicators and awarded gold, silver and bronze diplomas and medals. Since the year 2000 the Choir-Olympic idea has created an unprecedented and unique worldwide resonance. Over 1800 choirs have so far participated in this competition alone, the world’s largest choral competition.
With this background in mind, the cultural furtherance association INTERKULTUR proudly presents the
MUSICA MUNDI World Ranking List,
having retroactive effect back to the year 2000.
For the first time ever, it makes possible an impressive overall comparison of all choirs that have participated in the competitions. Based upon this world ranking list, individual lists are then made which reflect the situation in the various areas:
